# Is your route planning solver-ready?

Preparation checklist for a representative Flowtlas discussion. This is not a product availability guarantee.

## Work and locations

- [ ] Stable identifiers distinguish customers, service locations, tasks and stops.
- [ ] Addresses/coordinates are validated for the actual service site.
- [ ] Every stop has a realistic service duration.
- [ ] Customer windows state the actual promise, with dates and time zones where relevant.
- [ ] A pickup and its delivery are connected in the correct order.

## Resources

- [ ] Available vehicles and assigned people are known for each dated work period.
- [ ] Capacity units and starting loads match the stop-level load changes.
- [ ] Skills and qualification records have an accountable human owner.
- [ ] Breaks, unavailability, working limits and driving limits are explicit.

## Multi-day and overnight

- [ ] The overall horizon is not being treated as continuous availability.
- [ ] Required nightly depot visits or accommodation stops are specified.
- [ ] The final endpoint is not being mistaken for a nightly return rule.
- [ ] Accommodation, rest, travel policy and legal compliance have their own verified process.

## Dependencies and exceptions

- [ ] Same-tour, different-tour, order and timing-gap rules reflect real needs.
- [ ] Cross-vehicle synchronization is not assumed from same-tour timing rules.
- [ ] Someone can explain why each hard requirement exists.
- [ ] Unassigned work will be reviewed rather than deleted to improve a metric.

## Evaluation

- [ ] The baseline uses the same work, resources, constraints and travel assumptions.
- [ ] Changes between requests are recorded.
- [ ] Optional AI planning advice is bounded; hard constraints remain with the solver.
- [ ] A person is responsible for reviewing results before operational use.
- [ ] Enabled functions, integrations and evaluation terms are confirmed with Flowtlas.

Use anonymised or fictional records first. Agree an appropriate transfer channel before sharing operational data.
